(WCIRTA)
The WCIRTA is an affiliate of the Illinois Retired Teachers Association and is Unit #86 in the IRTA Region 18 and Area 6. Members are primarily retired K-12 educators from Williamson County, Illinois, located in the southern third of the state. Who We Are
We are an organization of retired teachers joined together in Williamson County to:
A. Support the state organization, Illinois Retired Teachers Association (IRTA) in restoring and protecting benefits received and in expanding state programs that serve retired teachers.
B. Share experiences and learn from each other:
1. Pension and insurance procedures and updates
2. Interests, hobbies, and travel opportunities
C. Enjoy meeting with former teachers and friends
